The aim of the programme is to enable the learner to develop the knowledge, skill and competencies to provide administrative support to include; use of office equipment, use of computer applications, document production, managing filing systems and diaries in a variety of office settings.
On successful completion of the programme, learners may progress to further education and training.

Previous experience in an office. Applicants must have reached the current statutory school leaving age and are required to have a confident and clear command of English. Ability to copy type accurately at a speed of 15 wpm from printed material is essential.
QQI Level 5 Major Award in Office Administration.
Administration role in any company.

QQI Level 5 can be used to progress to further education at a higher level.
